Everyone has so many names!
It's funny how kids are always listening and pick up on things. My mother-in-law called my father-in-law "Sweetheart." Jesse wanted his attention, so he said to his grandfather, "You want to come play in my house, sweetheart?" Very cute. Do you have a similar story? It's fun to watch as Jesse tries to figure out the different names for everyone he is surrounded by. Like Mommy, Mama, Mom.... is also "Sara" or "Honey" if Daddy is talking to her. Tonight he he learned sometimes Abo (short for Abuelo) is called sweetheart. ;)

Funny names
Jesse loves "Family Grocery Shopping Night." Yes, he enjoys the time with Mom and Dad, but more importantly, this means a trip to somewhere like "Ack-Dawnodes" or "Chick-a-way" for a quick dinner. May I have some "checkup" with my fries? What do your kids call some of their favorite places? And he likes getting a bright green sticker after shopping at "Kogers." And if I had a dime for everyone who makes a comment to him in that little cart car... "Do you have a license to drive that, son?" "Are you old enough to be out on these roads?" Ha.

Jesse playing with his reflection
I'll start this off with a "classic." One of my favorite videos of Jesse, playing with his reflection in the computer monitor. I LOL everytime I watch it. Do you have a cute video to share? I'm hoping everyone can share video urls when you comment. We'll see. I'm learning as I go! :)
First Post!
Happy New Year! I decided I wanted an easy way to document all the funny things I hear from my son each day. And how neat it would be to read what you have to share about your children. Kids really do say the darnedest things. They are humorous, profound and creative -- without even knowing it! So...I haven't figured out how this is going to work yet, but it should be fun! This blog is inspired by and dedicated to the amazing Jesse Dean - who never ceases to amaze us.
